The Necessity of Localizing Animal Sciences Based on the Latest New Approaches

Abstract

Objective: The beginning of any scientific-research journal is like a new dawn in the field of awareness and knowledge, especially in the field of animal sciences, which is the place of great and decisive challenges in the food security of the people. Now that, by God's grace, the first issue of the journal "New Approaches in Animal Sciences" is to be published in the Animal Sciences Group, it is not without merit to remind a few points.
Methods: The present note is based on a historical-analytical approach and reflects on the essential points on the localization of animal sciences and examines the origin and legacy of this journal, explains its place in the evolution of animal sciences in Iran, and takes another step towards the advancement and achievement of the great goals of the mission-oriented university. Since one of the most important resources used by students in all universities is the new findings of scholars, specialists, enthusiasts, and experts in each field of study, specialized journals and reputable and well-known scientific publications in that subject, and analyzes its current function in light of global challenges such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, retrieval of studies, and organization of knowledge.
Results: The results of this study show that this journal has been not only a means of knowledge dissemination, but also a collective memory, an infrastructure for independent scientific discourse, and a suitable platform for faculty members, researchers, and students. This journal has made a fundamental contribution to documenting and continuing the study of animal sciences in Iran.
Conclusions: The results showed that the findings of the aforementioned sciences will be efficient and productive when they are compatible with the intellectual and cultural foundations of our animal ecosystem, an ecosystem whose main distinguishing feature from other societies is the Iranian identity with its various and diverse climates. Attention is paid to the important source of differences in the principles of keeping and raising livestock and poultry in Iran and other countries. Different definitions that are presented from the principles of cognitive environment. Lead to the prescription of different principles and methods in education, keeping and raising. Since the contents and articles of the first issue of the journal contain the latest information on the livestock and poultry industry, it can convey the experiences and results of the paths taken in the world and Iran to the public in a desirable way.
